The Boy King & His Car!

I know,...he looks totally uninterested! Just before I snapped the picture the words that tumbled out of his mouth were, "OH, MOM!" At 20, he thinks he is way too cool to have a moment in time captured. I rarely get the opportunity to take his picture. He knew that I would blog about it! So, to appease me he gave me a "semi-James Dean" look and the camera went "whir" & "click"! I managed to get 2 pictures of him. When I put the camera down he gave me a brillant smile...much brighter than the sun that was shining in his eyes! Naturally, the smile came when he realized I had turned the camera off. Then he was off to Barnes & Noble to have coffee & discuss politics with other 20 year olds! A copy of this picture is on its way to Pappy & Mammy so they can remember the joy they had in passing on "The Prize" to a grandbaby in true need! It will, no doubt, be more fodder for the family that loves to cajole and to weave intricate stories of who is loved the best & most...Just like the Smothers Brothers! I can't wait until the next family gathering! It will be a ton of fun!
