Missing Springtime in Texas!

Texas Bluebonnets!

This picture makes me incredibly homesick for Texas! God paints the Texas landscape with the most beautiful wildflowers. Maybe He does this because Texas winters can be drab and brown. The bleak landscape of the fall & winter months gives way to an amazing tapestry of colors...Indian Paintbrush, Bluebonnets, Buttercups, Crimson Clover, Black-Eyed Susan, Pink Evening Primrose, Buffalo Peas, Red Corn Poppy, Foxglove, Baby Blue Eyes, and Mexican Gold Poppy. These are just a few of the blossoms that color the highways and byways as far as the eye can see. The Bluebonnets are my favorites and every April my eyes long to see the blossoms waving in the breeze.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork." Psalm 19:1
