My heart is burdened today and it has been for a week. This is what happens when you have expectations of people and they disappoint you in a bitter and hateful manner. This week we discovered that our Minister of Education and Evangelism has been systematically trying to undermine and defame our Senior Pastor and our Associate Pastor! And that isn't the worst of it. He has been trying to divide the congregation, pitting one against another! It is an ugly situation...the kind of situation that makes non-Christians shun organized religion. My burden? I thought this man had integrity and I thought he was godly, after all, as he reminded us daily, he does have a seminary degree. It never occurred to me that one of Satan's minions would actually attend seminary and then be employed by a church, our church! A very green-eyed monster has inhabited his body and his wife's because she has been equally hateful and sinister in her actions and her words. He is supposed to resign and he will be amply compensated which I don't understand...destroy a church and get paid for it?! He and his wife are to cease their smear campaign (which they have not done)!
The moral of the story: If you are not praying for your pastor and his family, if you are not praying for the protection of the leadership of your church and your church family, shame on you! Be Warned!!! Satan will find your weakest link and work to divide and destroy your church! Beware!
