This picture conveys my mood for this early morning. We are playing the waiting game with Hurricane Gustav and making the necessary preparations in case this storm shifts toward our Coastline. So, as the sun breaks on the horizon, banks of clouds swirl overhead. I feel the heaviness of the situation pressing in on me, especially as I pray for loved ones in Louisiana who were displaced for years after Katrina.
At some point today, I plan to sneak in some knitting and maybe even the planning of some "gift" knitting and crocheting for Christmas. It will be a good diversion as we wait and watch.
"But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protecion over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You."
