Family Reunion

Jambalaya

Mac 'n Cheese

Potato Salad

Asian Cole Slaw

Squash Casserole

Saturday we attended a family reunion. It must have been a busy weekend for the entire family because only about half the normal crowd was there. It was a perfect day weather wise! And the day was filled with warmth, laughter, family love, and apparently a predominance of yellow, white and beige food. I didn't take pics of all the food because some items were always surrounded by hungry folks. We had hand-made tamales, baked ham, black-eyed peas, and taco soup. Also, not documented were the luscious desserts...like freshly made banana pudding and spice cake. Although this was all wonderful and quite tasty...next year we need to consider tossed salad and fruit. LOL! A little bit of color is a very good thing!

Have a great Monday!

Oh!!! I hope you had a good time!! And I just thought about that--most side dishes for picnics are just yellow or white--a good fruit salad would probably go a long way!!

This sounds like a wonderful time!!

Have a blessed day!!
