This billboard is located at West 57th & West Side Highway (atop the Artkraft Strauss Building) in New York City. It is a fitting tribute to the valiant efforts of everyone involved in the events surrounding U.S.Airways flight 1549 on January 15th. The events of that day are nothing less than extraordinary...on the part of the flight crew, the FAA, the first responders...the list goes on! As a former flight attendant you train for disasters over and over again knowing that if conditions are not ideal your training means very little. Everything worked exactly like it was supposed to! I believe that it is called Providence - divine guidance or care; God conceived as the power sustaining and guiding human destiny. I know that some don't believe in this but I do. And, we saw it in real time on January 15, 2009!

Oh, I agree, Sandy!! This was definitely a "God moment" and nothing less!!
What a fitting tribute to each and everyone involved in what could have been a great disaster. But, God, in His divine intervention prevented this.
