Feather & Fan

Feather & Fan pattern in Sugar 'n Cream Tumbleweed. Isn't it pretty?! This is one of my very favorite stitch patterns. I just don't seem to tire of it. I find it quite relaxing. I love this close-up view!

Red Hot Knitting Needles!

Finished!

One more
finished!

Another started!

The top 2 dishcloths were a delight to knit. The pattern is Argosy Plain Jane. It is fun and quick and I love the way the ombre knits up! The first Argosy is knitted in the new Sugar 'n Cream Naturals. The color is Earth Ombre!

The second dishcloth is also an Argosy Plain Jane. I used Swimming Pool...one of my favorite of the Sugar 'n Cream Ombres. It has been around for a while and no matter what I use it for it always looks like water shimmmering in the sunlight.

The third cloth is another Sugar 'n Cream Naturals called Tumbleweed. I am using my favorite Feather & Fan pattern. It is my fallback pattern. I know it by heart so I can always pick up a pair of 7 needles and a skein of cotton yarn and whip up a feather & fan cloth. I wish the camera did justice to the colorway!

Knitting Validation...LOL!

To Prove That I Really Knit.............

...here is something I just picked up to work on. I realize I haven't even discussed knitting in many posts. I have been distracted by the arrival of Spring and the beauty I see around me.

This yarn is a new colorway from Sugar 'n Cream. There are several beautiful colors in this "Naturals" line. This particular one was gifted to me. It is Earth Ombre. The pattern is "Argosy Plain Jane Dishcloth." It is a great pattern that I love to use with variegated yarn.

Fresh Yarn Preserves!

A fresh jar of Sugar 'n Cream yarn preserves! Isn't this a great storage idea! This container once held Wheat Pretzel's from Sam's Club. My husband and son love these pretzels and for some reason my son had been stockpiling the empty containers in his room. I confiscated 4 of them. Once they were clean and dried they became the perfect storage container for my stash of cotton yarn (Sugar 'n Cream Stripes). My son, Captain Oblivious, still hasn't realized that his supply of pretzel containers has diminshed! Necessity is the mother of invention!
Blessings!
