Because 2008 is rapidly coming to a close I decided it was time to use up some of my vacation days. Today I decided to run errands and I saw some very welcome signs around the town. The Kangaroo station has gas at $2.01. Love's Truck Stop and Wal-Mart have gas priced at $1.98 a gallon. And, if you have a Wal-Mart card then 3 cents is knocked off the price per gallon. I was able to fill up my van for $33.00! I haven't been able to do that in quite a while. We need to enjoy this break in price while it lasts...I am sure it won't last long. Hope you are seeing prices this good or better!

I have found it amazing how the price of gas has dropped!!
It was $2.19 at the Giant near me, then I had bonus points and could get 10 cents off a gallon!! That is the lowest I've paid for gas in a long time.
But, you're right--it probably won't stay that way :(
