Canadian Geese - honking their arrival!
Seranading me from outside my office window!
Little frog hiding near the door.
Ocassionally I am challenged to just document what I see. So this morning I was determined to just turn the camera on and take random shots. The geese were captured as I drove into work this morning. (Please don't tell anyone that I was snapping pictures as I drove.) I was surprised by the clarity of the picture because I was clipping along at 40 mph. I could hear the geese before I actually saw them. I love the V-formation!
Shortly after I opened the office and got my computer started I could hear warbling just outside my window. I went out and captured this lone bird. It was just singing away and totally oblivious to me or the camera. I guess the little bird was just praising the start of a new day!
As I headed back inside the building I noticed this "bump" between the gutter and the brick exterior wall. At first I thought it was an abandoned wasp nest but closer inspection revealed a little frog. It was 55 degrees here in the deep South this morning so he must have been looking for a warm place to hide. I will check on him later to see if he was motivated to move.
Wishing good things for your day!

I love your pictures!! I just enjoy pictures of nature so much.
I think the geese left my home and are flying to yours!!
Keep them safe and warm to return home to me in the spring!
