My scenic view!
It would be easy to complain that this view is not the prettiest but I have to say that I am actually grateful for what I see. This view means that I was able to see the dentist 8 hours after cracking a filling and breaking off a tiny portion of my tooth. I pleaded for a picture of the ceiling, the dentist and her assistant but the picture of the ceiling was the only one I snapped. Do you think that the dentist and her assistant were afraid that all you would see were their nostrils as I looked up with my mouth opened wide!?! I guess my dental news could have been much worse...I have to have a crown on the damaged tooth. The temporary is in place (no chewing anything too sticky or too hard). The permanent will be "delivered" before Christmas! (Merry Christmas to me!)
I am thankful for a caring dentist. I didn't feel anything and I had my choice of TV or music to distract me from the sound of the drill. I am also very grateful for the girls that run the office because they were able to squeeze me into their crowded schedule so I would be almost as good as new.
May your view today be beautiful!

YEAH!! I had to wait two weeks to get into the dentist when my tooth broke!! A crown--well at least it can be fixed--no root canal? That's what they did to me when I needed a crown--oh, didn't like that? But, really, my dentist and her assistants are also very nice, and they make me feel comfortable there, too!!
And you really do take your camera everywhere, don't you--even to the dentist!!
But, we know--you just never know what you'll find to snap a picture of!!
Glad your tooth is being fixed, and painless, too!!

Beth, I would normally have had to wait a couple of weeks to see the dentist but our dentist's mom lives in our neighborhood. It makes a big difference when her mother makes the distress call. We are blessed to have a dentist that we actually know...a young woman that we watched grow up! She took over the patients of our dentist when his practice was washed away by Hurricane Katrina. He decided it was time to teach at the dental school!
